LivePerson knows you’re deeply committed to providing high quality customer service to your visitors.

To help you demonstrate the actual quality and availability of your chat-based customer service, LivePerson offers a unique Star Rating feature. Scores range from one to five stars.

Unlike many other rating systems that rely on subjective feedback, LivePerson uses a proprietary algorithm based on key metrics that directly affect your visitors’ online customer experience. The metrics include:

Visitor Wait Time Measures how quickly agents accept visitors’ requests to chat.

Agent Availability Measures the amount of time agents are online and available to chat with visitors.

Agent Response Time Measures how quickly agents respond to visitors during a chat.

Non-Responsive-Agent Chat Tracks the number of chats in which a visitor enters at least one line of text, but does not receive any response from an agent.

Chat Request Abandonment Tracks the number of visitors who request a chat but close the chat window before the chat begins.

Show Your Visitors Your Website's High Star Rating!

You decide whether or not to display your site’s Star Rating.  You can also choose when you want your Star Rating to appear on your site.  For instance, you can opt to show the Star Rating only if your site has earned a rating of three stars or higher.

LivePerson provides two display options: Star Rating Mark and Star Rating Indicator. We recommend you leverage both display options on your website

Star Rating Mark

The Star Rating Mark incorporates your site's overall score. Include it in the section of your website where you display other marks, such as the HACKERSAFE mark.

Star Rating Indicator

Displays your site's overall score below your Live Chat button.
